The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Channel Sales Account Manager to join us in Warsaw, Poland. In this role, you will develop the channel landscape for the Central South Europe region. You'll work with existing channel partners, reactivate inactive partners, and recruit new partners. You'll be instrumental in guiding designed channel sales activities. As a Channel Sales Account Manager, you will ensure good relationships with Red Hat and all channel partners, so be prepared to solve potential escalations on the channel account manager level.
Primary job responsibilities
Constantly meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals and financial performance targets Achieve new business growth in both billings performance and partner number growth according to targets set by regional management team Develop relationships and continuous business success with the existing channel partners and reactivate dormant channel partners Identify and develop new channel partners Enhance the country sales strategy in close cooperation with regional sales management Guide quarterly business review planning (QBR) with all Red Hat partners Communicate with regional sales management and the Sales Controlling and Business Analysis teams about return on investment for all sales programs Prepare, implement, and follow up on sales and product training plans for key accounts together with regional sales engineers Jointly work on a weekly basis with the Inside Sales team, share the plans and activities with them and strengthen the team spirit Direct regional weekly pipeline reviews with top partners and submit weekly sales forecasts to regional sales management Support the Product Management and Marketing teams in launching new products into the channel Demonstrate and articulate a full understanding of Red Hat’s solutions portfolio Present Red Hat's value proposition in a confident and effective manner to new and existing channel partners Build solid relationships with the regional sales management team and work closely with all other Red Hat internal departments
5+ years of sales experience, including field sales experience Proven record of sales or channel development Experience in specialist software solutions or security software sales is a plus Solid communication and presentation skills Ability to develop new channel partners and reactivate existing relationships Able to effectively prepare, justify, communicate, and manage sales forecasting Ability to establish credibility with internal and external customers Ability to work well under pressure Willingness to travel up to 50%
