Last year, Funktional has increased its horizons, moving into international markets, however, focussing our local market is still a very high priority and has been our most successful region to date. That's why we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager, to grow our already impressive Polish client base, furthering our influence and opportunities to do something good. 

As a company, our core focus, is to work with organisations that make a difference. Our sales strategy focuses on companies from a hugely diverse spread of market sectors, however, we are aiming to become a vital part of new technologies, scientific breakthroughs and niche markets. Goal number one - change the world for the better.

If chosen, you will be responsible for:

Lead generation & creating a robust pipeline of opportunities in regional markets with Poland as a priority
Developing effective growth strategies that apply both to customer requirements and financial success
Researching the market to identify key trends, new markets, opportunities for growth and customer needs
Converting incoming leads into customers (inbound)
Identifying new potential customers and proactively contacting them (outbound)
Negotiating the terms of collaboration with new accounts and closing business deals

Choose tools and software you want to use
Implement your own ideas to boost the business development process

We accept CVs both in Polish and English. 

Big ambitions and strong conviction that every goal is within your reach
Proven working experience and results as a business development manager, sales executive or other relevant role (min. 4 years). Preferably in the creative or IT industry
Very good work organization, time management and planning skills
General knowledge of outreach processes and account management
Fluency in spoken and written English and Polish
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Assertiveness, self-reliance, strong deal closing and negotiation skills are a must
Proficiency in MS Office, Google docs and CRM software (e.g. Hubspot, Base, Salesforce)
MA/BA in business administration, sales or other relevant field (not needed if you're a sales super star)
Ability to build deep and long-term relationships with customers
Experience with international clients is a big plus

Nice to haves

Fluency in spoken and written German will be a very big plus!

Details of employment

You will be eligible for commissions and quarterly bonuses based on your performance
Preferable form of employment is a B2B contract but other forms are also possible
