Designer / Structural Engineer
For the head office of Precon Polska Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw we are looking for app 2 Designers (Structural Engineers) with real development potential. Our design team grows every year. We are 15 designers now and we need to expand even more. We have been rapidly growing for some years now and we need to balance our production volumes with our design capacity. Both for domestic and export markets.

In order to be successful in Precon Polska You need to have Master Degree in “Structural Engineering / civil engineering” of structures or equivalent. All other fields and specialties PLEASE do not apply!
You will start working with on the job training due to our unique needs, working methods and standards. Your work will involve training to begin with, further on mainly designing of concrete prefabricated elements in concrete buildings / structures. The results of Your work will create projects’ documents which will be used in production process in the manufacturing plants both in Poland and in Sweden, as well as they will become assembling documents for building sites where our elements are used.
Your work will generally involve close and periodically long co-operation with our colleagues in Sweden, therefore good communication skills in English, both oral and written are vital.
Ability to listen to people, ability to work in a team environment are important features. You need to be focused, well organized, plan wisely and set Your priorities in proper order. You will have to manage to work within provided frameworks – applying responsible freedom. Meet customer expectations, actual building standards, European standards, internal company standards, timeframes, cost frames, deadlines and profitability conditions. You must have some experience with Auto Cad and structural calculations. We work solely in that environment (modernised to our needs). Some experience from designing and calculating of steel structures is an advantage but not a condition.
You will report to one of our chief constructors but you are expected to come up with Your own independent initiatives, ideas and creative suggestions. You must be responsible and self-going person.
Your duties will include only some travelling in Poland and from time to time even abroad. We presume that You are mobile person and You have a driving licence.
